Join Yvon & Joanna at Leroux Creek Inn and Vineyards for an unforgettable culinary adventure in western Colorado’s North Fork Valley. Our locale is renowned for its emerging culinary traditions based on locally grown and raised foods. During your stay enjoy local wines, hand made breads, artisan cheeses, and artfully prepared meals. We offer our very popular all inclusive 4 Day Culinary Adventure or we can design a custom package for you depending on your wishes.

Massage on the deck

Come visit our "Our Side of the Divide". Explore our diverse landscape with canyons, mesas, mountains, and views that seem to go on for ever. Our locale offers notable scenery—from the magnificent views along the National Scenic Byway, Highway 65, to the breath taking vistas in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. If you prefer to relax we have all the amenities at the Inn to allow you kick back, get a massage or just sit outside and enjoy our views and crystal clear mountain air.

Chef Yvon in Kitchen

Yvon will lead you on the journey of wine from grape to bottle and will explain the influences vines, terroir, varietals and pruning techniques play in producing fine wines. Side trips to other vineyards, local farms, and food makers will give you an opportunity to experience our diverse culinary community. You will be invited to spend time with Chef Yvon in the kitchen as he prepares gourmet meals.

• 4 Nights accommodation with private bath and daily breakfast.
• Farms and winery tour.
• 2 Hands on cooking lessons with Chef Yvon.
• Bread and French pastry making experience with Johann and Yvon.
• Cheese making lessons and tasting.
• 3 four course Dinners. Welcome Dinner includes wine and aperitif.
• 3 Lunches.
• Wine tasting and blending on the premises and tasting at local wineries with transportation.

Vineyards
Day 1

Arriving early afternoon and getting acquainted, welcome aperitif, meet the host and staff, review of the programs. Chef Yvon will prepare a welcome Dinner with local foods paired with the LCV wines.

Day 2

After breakfast we will start the wine experience-from vine to bottle. Starting in the vineyard Yvon will introduce you to the growing cycle of the vines and how terroir, varietals and pruning techniques effect the finished product.
Next we visit the Winemaker's cellar to discover the fundamentals of the fermentation process, and the techniques for aging and blending wines.
Enjoy a lunch from an outside wood fire oven on the mesa.
During the afternoon we will visit a couple of growers for our farm to palate project and gather the fresh organic produce for the hands on cooking class and dinner tonight.
Return to the Inn to put together a local dinner.

Yvon In Kitchen
Day 3

Breakfast with Yohann Gasparach our in house Bread and bakery teacher. He will demonstrate how easy it is to make a French baguette and other bread in your own kitchen!
Lunch will be based on your efforts this morning and also fresh pick from Joanna & Yvon’s garden.
Scenic afternoon on your own. Visit the Black Canyon National Park, Colorado National Monuments or relax in a hammock and schedule a massage. Dinner is on your own tonight.

Cheese Making class
Day 4

After Breakfast we will learn cheese making. The cheese produced during our class will be part of the lunch (Mozzarella, fromage blanc).
Lunch on the patio.
Visit some local wineries for tasting and meet the Winemakers. We will arrange transportation so you can enjoy your afternoon. Stop at local farms to pick up fresh organic produce for the farewell dinner tonight.
You can relax or get involved and learn more intuitive cooking in a fun atmosphere with Chef Yvon.

People in the Vineyard
Day 5

Breakfast in the vineyard with one of Yvon’s specialties. Check out time is 11.00 am. We can store your luggage if you want to spend more time in the Valley.

It is also possible to bring along a non participating partner who can spend the day enjoying sightseeing, golf, hiking, biking, fishing in gold medals water, lake fishing on the Grand Mesa (the fishing is great!), rafting etc and then join the group at lunch or dinner time.

Programs prices: $ 1,335 per person based on double occupancy.

Custom Packages

We can develop a Custom package especially for you based on your interests. Program includes accommodation with private bath and daily breakfast. Minimum stay is 2 days. You can include any of the following activities:
